LOUSVILLE, KY – A woman was killed and another person was injured following a three-vehicle crash near Iroquois Park on Friday morning.
WDRB reports that the fatal collision happened on St. Andrews Church Road at about 9:30 a.m. that morning, when a Jeep crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a Toyota. The driver of the Toyota overcorrected following the initial collision, and crashed head-on into a Kia.
The drivers of the Toyota and Kia were taken to University of Louisville Hospital with life-threatening injuries. One of those individuals died there on Saturday. That victim has been identified as 71-year-old Constance Denton.
Police cited the Jeep’s driver at the scene for driving without insurance and driving without a license. It is not clear whether that individual will face further criminal charges after Ms. Denton’s death.
The exact location of the crash was not mentioned in WDRB’s reporting.
