LOUISVILLE, KY – Four people were injured after a driver crashed while attempting to avoid the scene of a previous collision on I-264 on Sunday morning.
According to WAVE, the incident occurred shortly before noon in the eastbound lanes of the interstate, near Dixie Highway.
Shively Police say the unidentified male driver attempted to avoid a rear-end collision in the roadway when their vehicle swerved, struck a wall, and overturned.
The driver was ejected during the crash. He was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. A woman was hospital sent to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Two children were also involved in the crash. They were also taken to the hospital to be assessed for any injuries.
All lanes were reopened by 1:30 p.m.
