OLDHAM CO., KY – A man suffered fatal injuries resulting from a single-vehicle crash on West Highway 42 early Saturday morning.
According to WAVE, Michael Thompson, of Brownsville, lost control of his Honda Crosstour at about 7 a.m. near North Highway 1694.
Thompson’s Honda Crosstour skidded off the road and struck a pole and roadside tree. He was pronounced dead upon authorities’ arrival at the scene.
It remains unclear what caused Thompson to lose control of his vehicle at this time.
