Colorado man dies after hear-on crash with semi in Meade Co.

BRANDENBURG, KY – A man died following a two-vehicle crash in Meade County on Monday, August 30th.

According to Clay County News, the incident occurred when Jason Anderson’s Buick Encore drifted into the oncoming lanes of KY-313, near Flaherty Road.

Anderson’s vehicle then collided with an oncoming semi-truck driven by Rodney Bearinger, of Alberta, Canada.

The Meade County Coroner’s Office pronounced Anderson dead at the scene. Bearinger was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

It is unclear what caused Anderson to lose control of his vehicle at this time.
