LOUISVILLE, KY – Investigators with the Louisville Metro Police are looking into an officer-involved crash south of downtown on Saturday.
According to a report by WAVE, the crash occurred at the intersection of Central Avenue and South Third Street.
Witnesses say the officer had lights and sirens on while traveling south on Third Street when their cruiser was hit by an eastbound Chevrolet sedan.
The officer and occupants in the sedan were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
