Motorcyclist dies after collision with car on Maravian Drive in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, KY – Louisville Metro Police were at the scene of a fatal collision between a car and a motorcycle on Saturday morning, reports WLKY.

Police determined that the car hit the motorcycle from behind as both were headed west on Maravian Drive near the intersection with Lower Hunters Trace just before 4 a.m.

The motorcycle rider was ejected from his bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity was not immediately released.  The driver of the car was not injured.

The accident is under investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department’s Traffic Unit.
