LOUISVILLE, KY – A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday evening after crashing into a utility pole on the Northwestern Parkway.
According to a report by WAVE, the crash occurred at about 6:45 a.m. where Portland Avenue meets Northwestern Parkway.
Investigators believe the unidentified motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control and crashed off the road and into the pole.
The motorcyclist was rushed to the University of Louisville Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
