LOUISVILLE, KY – A single-vehicle accident on Interstate 64 in Louisville Wednesday left a driver critically injured, according to a report by WAVE.
The crash occurred on I-64 east near English Station Road, where police responded to the scene at about 2:45 p.m.
Investigators determined that the driver lost control of the vehicle while in the left lane, went across two lanes of traffic and collided with a concrete barrier.
Louisville police said the driver, whose name was not released, was hospitalized in critical condition. One passenger was in the car, but there was no immediate information on that person’s condition. The incident is under investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department’s Traffic Unit.
