Several injured after driver crashes into Newburg home

LOUISVILLE, KY – Three people were taken to the hospital after a driver crashed into a home in the Newburg area last Friday evening.

According to a report by WDRB, the collision was reported at about 5:30 p.m. within the 6400 block of Regent Way, near Shepherdsville Road.

Police believe the driver, a woman in her 40s, was heading north on Shepherdsville Rd. when she lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons. The car veered across several lanes of traffic before crashing into a nearby house.

All three occupants in the vehicle were taken to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment.
