LEXINGTON, KY – An elderly man was killed as the result of a single-vehicle crash on I-75 in the Lexington area on Sunday morning.
According to LEX 18, the crash occurred when the driver lost control of his vehicle on the southbound lanes of the interstate and crashed into a concrete barrier.
The driver, who has been identified as 81-year-old John Steward, was rushed to a nearby hospital. He ultimately succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
