Teen struck, killed after falling off dirt bike in east Louisville

LOUISVILLE, KY – A teenager was struck and killed by a vehicle after falling off of a dirt bike in east Louisville on Thursday evening.

According to WDRB, the incident was reported shortly before 8 p.m. within the 10500 block of La Grange Road, just outside of E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park.

Investigators say the 15-year-old rider lost control and was thrown from the bike. He was then struck by an oncoming vehicle.

The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges are expended to be filed against the driver involved at this time.
