1 killed, 2 injured in crash involving TARC bus

LOUISVILLE, KY – One person was killed and two others were injured when a TARC bus struck two passenger vehicles in the city’s Park Hill neighborhood on Tuesday.

WAVE reports that the collision took place at the intersection of W Oak Street and S 23rd Street at about 4:30 p.m. on June 8.

While the circumstances of the crash remain unclear at this time, photos of the scene suggest that a teal Dodge Ram pickup and a red Toyota sedan were involved.

The driver of the Dodge was taken to University Hospital, where he later died.

Two other people were injured in the crash, but are expected to survive.
