STEPHENSBURG, KY – Two people died and two others were seriously injured as the result of a Wednesday afternoon collision near Stephensburg.

According to a report by the News-Enterprise, the crash occurred at about 4:40 p.m. within the 1000 block of US-62, just past West Harden Middle School.

Deputies with the Hardin County Sheriff’s office say two individuals were pronounced dead at the scene and two others were flown to a Louisville Hospital in serious condition. The identities of those involved are being withheld at this time.
