Child struck by vehicle outside Thomas Jefferson Middle School

LOUISVILLE, KY – A child was hospitalized after being hit by a car outside of Thomas Jefferson Middle School this morning.

According to WHAS, the child was hit after being dropped off at the school on Rangeland Road at about 7:20 a.m.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. It is unclear if the driver involved will face any charges at this time.
