Major collision in McCracken Co. claims 5 lives

PADUCAH, KY – Five people were killed following a major crash involving a semi-truck in McCracken County on Monday afternoon.

According to KFVS, the crash took place at about 12:11 p.m. within the 4000 block of Clarks River Road, near the intersection with Georgia Street.

Police say the driver of a 2006 Ford Taurus was pulling out of the nearby shopping center when their vehicle was t-boned by an oncoming 2001 Volvo semi-tractor.

All five occupants in the Ford, including a 14-year-old, were pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear if the truck driver suffered any injuries.
