News: Pedestrian fatally struck by hit-and-run driver on Grade Lane in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, KY – Louisville police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian on Sunday morning, reports WAVE.

The victim was identified as 48-year-old Ricky L. Taylor of Louisville.  Investigators said he was hit by a sedan while walking north on Grade Lane at the intersection with Melton Avenue at about 9 a.m. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, the driver who struck him kept going north without stopping after the crash.

Anyone with information regarding the incident was asked to contact the Louisville Metro Police Department.
