UPS semi collides with pickup in S Louisville, killing 2

LOUISVILLE, KY – Two people were killed last night when a pickup truck towing a trailer collided with a UPS semi truck in south Louisville, WAVE reports.

The pickup was driving eastbound on Outer Loop when it collided with the semi as it entered Outer Loop from northbound I-65.

Emergency responders arrived shortly after 6:30 p.m., and declared the driver and a passenger of the pickup dead at the scene. They have been identified as 26-year-old Trenten Teamer and 29-year-old Jordan Winston, both of Houston, TX, respectively.

It is unclear whether the semi’s driver was hurt.

Police are continuing to investigate.
